Moving on the face of the water

The title is from the book of Genesis. The spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. The large red glaze could just as easily be the blast from a nuclear weapon test in this piece. Whatever it is it is large, powerful, and dangerous. I fell in love with the glazing capability of an oil color called Perelyne Red there for a while. This is what it can do. $1700
