One of my favorites from this period. Painted from a photograph taken from the Southwest side of the wonderful Saint Johns bridge which takes you from North Portland to Highway 30 and ultimately to Astoria on the Oregon Coast. This dock sits just north of a large industrial district on the West bank of the Willamette River. I love that the viewer can walk from deck to gangplank around the entire painting. Not for sale
